UVEEC, the University of Victoria Environmental Engineering Club, transformed my university experience. Initially, like many, I pursued a degree without a clear purpose. Engaging in enlightening "doomsday phase" conversations with Jun, our founder, raised environmental concerns.


I vividly recall his parting words: "It's not about being the first; it's about finding a problem and creating a solution for it." Today, as the team lead, I navigate project challenges and cherish the profound connections UVEEC fosters.


This marks the conclusion of the microplastic-collecting Unmanned Surface Vehicle project, as the team recently held a launch event. Until we meet again.
